Struggling American Car Owner! MUST READ
A man bought a corvette from a dealership. It was his dream car. He discovered the antenna and the trunk were screwy, brought it in for repairs. He told them not to drive it off the lot. $17,000 of damage later the dealership refuses to replace his car. Read the whole debauchle here.

HE NEEDS YOUR HELP TO MAKE THE DEALERSHIP RESPONSIBLE.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

He should grow up and take care of his problems himself.
I see no way to resolve problems by wasting time on internet boards. He should be writing letters to people who can really help him (if he is telling the complete truth, which I doubt).

The dealership ended up replacing his car
The internet is a powerful thing
I remember when one of our member's car had mileage put on it and cat hair in it before it was delivered to him (he was stationed in Iraq). Initially the owner of the dealership told him that is was T.S. The negative feedback caused from this site made him reconsider and he provided restitiution.
Doc,
You'd be surprised how quickly word travels on the internet and how it can affect a dealer's reputation. By posting the situation he probably had things resolved quicker than firing off letters to people and hiring a lawyer.
