The problem is the "Heritage" wheel is pretty much considered a Mustang wheel now. I understand that back in the day more then just one type of car had this style wheel.....in 15" lol.

Safe to say the Mustang qualifies as having enough "heritage" to merit the association and the Camaro and Challenger live up to theirs by trying to muscle in on the success of the original pony car.

Wheels: the standard R/T and SRT-8 ones look best, chrome one looks cheap and tacky and the Heritage one? Isn't it bad enough that just about every other Mustang for the past decade rolls on an almost identical style? All the retro-cool cache that these had on the 2001 Bullitt has long ago sunk into banality -- Ford should have saved them for the current Bullitt.
The stripes are OK, even if they don't actually improve the stunning underlying looks of the car, but at least they don't detract too badly for those who pride themselves on being different, just like the 10,000 other people who'll order them too.
The hood scoop is just your typical cheesy reproduction affectation for those who just can't let go of the good old days of 1971. Perhap offer an equally fake 8-track tape player faceplate to really complete that time warp.
The Challenger, perhaps even more so than the Stang, simply has great basic lines that is very difficult to actually improve upon or enhance though of course, it will inevitably suffer from the lemming-like urge of owners to be different -- like everybody else -- through clumsy and ostentatious ornamentation. Indeed they will succeed in being different, but few will be better for it.
