Sleeper Oldsmobile
Sleeper Oldsmobile
This guy Skalor is a very nice fellow and was nice enough to give us a glimpse of his L67 swapped Cutlass Ciera. Puts up some amazing numbers and looks bone stock too. Be careful if you're in the Southeast Penn. area you just may get your doors blown off.

Not what I expected at all with the title, but I guess that's the nature of a sleeper!
That's some great work that guy did there, and now he has a pretty sweet Olds to show for it

Yeah, what's neat is just how stock it looks. Some people haven't gone that far but have taken the heads, upper intake, lower intake, throttle body, and OBD II system from the 3400 series engine and bolted it onto the 3100. Apparently, it's supposed to be pretty straight forward and combined with a 2 1/2 inch exhaust upgrade these Ciera's can put out 210 hp and somewhere in the range of 240 lb-ft of torque. That may not sound like a lot but consider that the 4 door Ciera weighs in at a bit below 3000 lbs. With that power they can easily move along. Some other mods I've seen were the grafting of a T25 turbo from a early Saab 9-3 into the A-bodies, however you have to either know how to fabricate your own tubing or know someone who does since no one sells a prefabbed kit.
I still yearn for another Fox chassis Stang though...
This is my Cutlass Ciera and pics of my kids if anyone wants to see.
