Powered by a 5.4-liter, 4-valve Ford GT engine with a unique supercharger, the Ford Shelby Expedition delivers 550 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque, and is equipped with a 5-speed automatic gearbox and a Borla performance exhaust system. Its chassis is engineered with Optimum Composite Design structural enhancements and Brembo brakes with 385mm cross-drilled rotors in front and 4-piston, 355mm rear rotors bring the Shelby PUV to a stop with ease.

The Ford Expedition by Shelby offers dynamic Shelby-inspired exterior body accents, graphics and ground-effects, a Shelby-enhanced custom interior that includes an Eclipse navigation, CD/DVD system, Accelevision headrest LCD monitors, Monster Cable wiring, and a Cobra alarm system. The Expedition is accented with 22-inch custom SVT-inspired billet aluminum wheels and tire package.

Thanks Topnotch!!

The GT-R wheels look good on the thing, and those fender flares are massive . . .well the entire package is pretty massive.

Wonder how much . . . .

Nooooooooooooooooo! Absolutely revolting.

I suppose the Mustang we'll see is something along these lines -- luxurious, powerful and expensive. Not a real Shelby! :bang:

Yeah, that is why Shelby came back. So Ford could put his name on trucks

Hmmm.... "SVT-inspired" wheels that came on the GTR... let's hope the next SVT Mustang looks like the GTR!

The wheels/tires are 1/3 of the trucks price.

hmmm, i like the sound of that, and then an SVT lightning to tow your SVT cobra.

I like them tail pipes. And the blacked out pillars give the top a neat look.

That's actually a fun look for an RV. I still wouldn't want to drive a souped up short-bus. 550 HP at 7300 lbs or so? 13lbs/hp? Versus what, like 11 for a stock GT? A tank with turbine power is still a tank.

Personally, I think if Shelby doesn't show a stang, it shows that they made a deal with Ford. If they do show something, it says they haven't and are doing it on their own.

Don't get your hopes up. I really can't see the next SVT Mustang being called the Cobra with Shelby back in the picture, and Ford already producing a Cobra concept.

Doesn't matter one way or the other to me though -- still will be a great car!

Um, Shelby kinda sorta INVENTED the name Cobra being associated with Ford. The Cobra was pretty much stuck on a Mustang in 93 to disiminate it from the gt, even when it started with a mind-numbing 10 extra hp The true "Cobra" moniker on a Mustang was a side note on Shelby's original 65-70 cars to bring a little assoiation with the AC roadster. It appeared on the gas cap and wheel center caps. Later it was also the 'cobra jet' engines that made the later models street monsters. I actually always thought it was silly to call a Mustang a Cobra without Shelby's involvement, a Cobra to me IS the AC, not the Mustang.
