Well sort of...
It's a high quality brand new 1969 all steel convertible camaro featured in october Hot Rod magazine, it should sell around $12,000 for the body-chassis or can be sold as a complete and brand new car, there is already 115 orders, a camaro coupe version will be available, also the 1967 Fastback Mustang and there is discussion about doing a 69 mach and 70 cudas...

They say it would be easy to build a 67-68 camaro or early firebird with this body, obviously since it's the same body-chassis but with different fenders and hood...so I suppose when they build the 67 fastback mustang it could be made into a shelby clone with modern mecanics...imagine that ! a "new" 67 shelby that would outhandle, accelerate faster than the original and could be used as a dependable dayly driver... B) They also mention it will be possible to buy a brand new complete convertible camaro for around 40k.

oh man that is one sweet car. double
cant wait to see the coupe version.
the 1967-69 camaros are some of my fav cars
what i really want to see (and probably be inclined to buy in a few years) is a 1970 sportsroof

I have always thought that would be a good idea(taking a classic car, and making brand new ones), glad to see someone did it (I just wish it were me...)
In a few years, when I gots the time and money...I see a brand new 67 Stang being built in my garage...unless someone makes a 300SL complete body.

that is awsome..what is the name of the company, and do they have a website?
Man, the possibilities (with money of course), technically if you had '67 stang body you could build a 68 Shelby out of it, which is one of my favorite cars.

This might be a reaction to the rising ricer scene.
Companies are hesitant to put out modern muscle cars, but bringing back the classics to show Riceboy what a car really SHOULD be seems to be acceptable.

By the time you finish the car, you will have as much (or more) than what you could have just bought a (real) finished and ready-to-rideCamaro SS RS (or Z28) in concours condition.
I'd rather have a 'stang.

It doesn't make a lot of sense to me to drop 40 large into building that, but to each his own. My parents had a 67 Camaro convertible and my first new car was a 1970 SS350 Camaro, but I like the 67-68 Mustangs better.
I guess that's why I like the 2005 Mustang so much.
