Salesman to Customer: You Got Screwed
A woman who bought a car at a dealership in the southern state of Tennessee got more than she bargained for when she turned on the car's messaging system.
A recording informed her in coarse language that she had just gotten a raw deal but would nonetheless be happy in the long run with her expensive purchase.
The local television station WTVF reported that several former managers who worked at the Bill Heard Chevrolet dealership said the message was par for the course and was often left by salesmen who knew they had ripped off customers.
Sorry I didn't find the humor in this. BTW, if it was you that got taken advantage of, I highly doubt you would see any humor in it.
Thats completely saddening. I agree with what Jeff said, and I am thankful I know some people in sales (both locally and form the net) that are respectable and do something I completely believe in, client satisfaction is number 1. Jeff and Ed are two of the best.
I would do enough research before making life's second biggest investment to avoid being ripped off. Furthermore, how can you say "they should just go ahead and shut them down" when all you know is that they're guilty of capitalism and tasteless practical jokes?
Being a **** isn't illegal. Thank God....

Hey,
It wasn't a FORD dealer, what would you expect out of a Chevy Dealer, other than a formal Scre##ng.
The GM higher ups probally encouraged this message to be left to the customer.
All the while they were having a Cig,??????????????????

Jesus Christ people, it's this simple; The salesman was being an A-hole. Being an A-hole, isn't cool - It just means that people think you're full of crap. People don't think that piece of crap A-holes are good to do buisness with. It hurts us all in the long run. It's tasteless, unnecessary, unprofessional, unneeded, immature, et f'n cetera.
Why am I getting worked up over this?
If you think this is cool, then explain one benefit of it. And no, bad press isn't a plus. I'm sure it's not bringing customers to bang on their doors... at least not unless they're using sledge hammers and baseball bats.
The salesman definately needs a kick in the ding-ding.
