You must be joking. Pontiac has always supposed to have been the performance division. The T/A have ALWAYS been faster and were more luxurious and refined. I think the last gen Bird looks way better than the bland maro.

As for the looks, what you call bland most people would call clean, theres a reason camaros were outselling firebirds 2:1 or 3:1. The Firebird looks good from some angles but from others it just looks awkward, while the camaro looks like a no nonsense musclecar. O, and then there was the price premium for all your luxury bullpoo which amounted to about $5000.
