The mustang does not have stability control, only traction control. Two completely different abilities.

Stability Control stops you from going around corners sideways - where's the value in that?!

Mustangs are meant to be wild horses!

At least the Traction Control has an off button.

Traction Control stops the rear wheels from spinning on acceleration.

Stability Control monitors steering input and uses ABS and Traction Control to keep you going in the direction you are trying to steer.

It takes all the fun out of driving, hence the override button.

IMO - GM is not willing to make a true committment to it if it is a four-door....either get in or out.

"the new GTO could be a four-door car with a coupe-like profile"??? Why is it that automakers think a four-door car is a sports car. I could never imagion buying a four-door GTO. Its sounds like something out of The Twilight Zone.

That's moronic. The older GTO's are iconic. Why on earth wouldn't you make it look like the old ones? Oh well, at least Ford got it right

What the heck is this thing supposed to be? Cause surely it's not a GTO.

Eh. At least it only has two doors. They are moving in the right direction.

Well,

It is not hard to see why GM is losing so much money with ideas like this one....

why? No offense to Doug, because that's great chop work, but that car is *still* a boring, Cavalier-esque failure waiting to happen. At least the sketch a few posts above shows some personality, the current Monaro/GTO is just purely bland and uninteresting. As long as the basic shape stays as it is, it will remain so, no matter how many swoops and scoops you give it.
