Does anyone know did Ford offer hatchback verzion of 68-69 Fairlane? I'm not talking about Fairlane Torino, I'm talking about base Fairlane.

I don't think so, I wasn't aware that ford made any hatchbacks in the 60's, but I may be horribly wrong!

Did you mean fastback or hatchback like on 87-93 Mustangs? If you meant fastback, then yes, the Fairlane was offered in a fastback model. If you meant hatchback, then no.

Yeah, I did meant Fastback, like early Mustangs.

So there was both coupe and fastback base Fairlane (again, not Torino or Torino GT, base Fairlane)?

I have Standard Catalog of Ford 1903-2003, but I couldn't find anything about fastback model.

Thanks for pic Skip.

But I always though that's Torino, not base Fairlane.

I always though this is base Fairlane.

The fastback is Fairlane 500, a cut above a regular Fairlane and a cut below a regular Torino.

The 4 door is a base Fairlane...with flames........

Here are some more. Note the red 68 FB Fairlane 500 http://www.fordfairlane.com/68pics.html
