This area here is pure R8. The look of the dimensions seem to fit that chassis as well.

Looks fast, but I fear this and the Deauville indicate that DeTomaso is heading in a direction that will simply make them another also ran in a relatively crowded sea of European exotics rather than the standout they need to be if they are to succeed. A 21st century take on the classic Pantera with a 500hp Coyote in the back for base 911 turbo money would absolutely wake the neighbors. In contrast, if this goes as I suspect, I fear that this is going to have people asking 'I would buy this over an Italia why?'
