Ok i was puttering about on the Top Gear web site and spied this tiny pic


which to me looks like a modern take on a lancia stratos. can anyone confirn this?

Maybe they'll have something on it very very soon, hopefully

Edit: I also noticed that the pic has the date of April 1st, and none of the news stories are dated April 1st, so maybe we'll see something tomorrow

 

Yes it is based on the Stratos, done by a design house out of England. It is supposed to be built in small numbers.

So Lancia doesnt own the rights to the name Stratos anymore, Fenomenon LTD does

 

the rear is awesome, but the front isnt too hot (reminds me of a 350Z in a way)

I'm digging the front on the red/orange stratos with the hidden headlamps (although they arent really hidden, just those rally covers over them), They should have those lights that flip open and close

Yeah Lalo I agree the front is a bit "out there"
But overall a good start

That orange onw looks alot better for some reason bur man that vintage one

Apologies for bumping an old post, but I ran across this on the Gumball3000 pics page, and remembered this thread.

 

I've always liked Lancias and that Stratos looks great to me. Neat shot from the Gumball.
