Possible 300HP V6 Camaro!?!
I think the Jurassic age of muscle cars is nearly upon us.
To a point. But we're racing towards a quantum moment in human history where oil can no longer be our primary source of energy - and if gas gets to $7.00 per gallon, I suspect even rich enthusiasts are going to take a second, and third, look at whether it's worth acquiring (or even owning) these cars anymore.

I think the Jurassic age of muscle cars is nearly upon us.
2 years ago I thought that the price of gas would be $4 a gallon by 2010.
I figured with that and higher CAFE averages that would be the beginning of the end for muscle cars.
Seems I was a little off on my prediction, but the end is the same.
I wanted to get mine while I still could without spending the kind of money a low production specialty car demands.
The future of muscle cars is just that... low production specialty cars.
...
The other thing is that many people buy cars based on what is cool at the time.
Cool is soon to be high gas mileage.
The average person will begin to look with disdain at people like me zooming from red lights at high speed in a muscle car.
They will point their fingers and say,"I'm glad I'm not paying for his gas".
