Do you guys know some history behind the "Mexico" Mustang?

 

are you asking or are you taunting because you know? lol. we really didnt kno. we just oggled it for a while lol, as it was the only mustang there. with the colors, and from a distance, i originally thought it was an italian mustang (it was a ferrari unveiling) but we were soon proven wrong. boy did it look great tho. wish i knew more asbout it, whether its just a nice stang, or if it has some major race history, etc (and i have a feeling it was a real racer)

lemme kno if you find anything nifty if i were mexican, or italian for that matter, i'd paint my car like taht

 

no luck finding what its about (i'm quick to give up lol)

Lalo, I think I recall seeing that Mexico Mustang in a few Autoweek articles many years ago about La Carrera Panamericana, a 2000 mile vintage road/rally race in Mexico. The paintscheme looks right, as well. I checked the race's website, but found no reference to it, though they only have race results back to 2001.

 

that might be it... One of the sites I found stated something about a 2000 mile race in Mexico... but there were no pics or enough detail.

to be honest, there werent that many at this show. peter showed up late, so he didnt see, but MAN there were some smokin' young ladies at the fasion show next door.
