The website at the end of the video makes me think it is Czech. No matter, though. Those guys really haul some freight!

I've seen that stuff on videos as well. Also saw an R&T article on a similar vehicle - a tube-framed chassis, composite bodied "semi truck". It had water-cooled brakes. It also posted some pretty crazy performance figures for its size and weight.

Awesome video!! I'll add some more info to Hi5.0's great reply. This type of racing is called Super Truck Racing. It is very BIG over in Europe. Think of it as Europe's version of the Nascar Craftsman Truck series. They have the races in the towns. They shut the streets down. There is even a video game for PS2, and it too is called Super Trucks. Even though I don't use my PS2 anymore, when I got the game a few Christmases ago, it was a fun authentic race game, especially for $9.99. I thought Tonka was suppost to start a race series in the US, but I guess it never got off the ground. I would love to see some of these trucks race here. It would be a site.

Yeah, alot of links and pics from ancient threads tend to just disappear, their wonderful content lost to cyberspace. to the void... forever....

First time I've ever seen that though! I think those corner workers and spectators are crazier than the drivers!
