Yesterday my class got the opportunity to go to the NUMMI plant in Fremont, California. It was very interesting. Only car assemble plant west of the rockies. They build Toyota Tacomas, Corollas, and the Pontiac Vibe. It's a joint venture between GM and Toyota. Since I just bought a car, I was very interested on how they were made and watching those cars and trucks being made was amazing. Now all I got to do know is get into Flat Rock's plant and watch them do their work.

 

I went to AAi a year or so ago and it was simply amazing to see. I'd love to goto another car plant and see if another company does it a bit differently.

 

yeah i took the tour of AAI in sept 04 also and it was really cool to see it all in action.
