I've seen a few of those around. There is still a big Pontiac fan base out there that are not ready to give it up yet. As long as Journey is still playing their greatest hits and mullets are still in style, Pontiac love is still alive.

I just did a search on Autotrader, and there's used ones for less than $90k, and new V-10 models in the $170k range! What a bargain!

After watching the vid I was confused, he made it sound like a rumbling GM V8 but the vid clearly shows the Audi engine, so why the T/A connection???

Maybe he's a Burt Reynolds fan...

Wow! I think it's kind of cool, actually. It's nice to see an R8 owner who doesn't take himself so seriously. I personally wouldn't do that, but it's fairly tastefully done.

 

That tag is the Georgia state flag (up until 2001). Same tag that was on the T/A in the movie.
