I think the car has potential but its also got a lot of challenges to overcome like:

1. Its late to the game so its gotta play catch up
2. Its gonna be pricey. We can expect a reasonably equipped Camaro to cost more than $30k.
3. Its gonna require marketing to sell. If Chevy sits on their laurels a large percentage of the buyers will be mullitheads.
4. With the 2010 Mustang on the way and the Challenger they're going to be in competition from day one.
5. With strict CAFE reg's on the horizon they're gonna have only a short window to sell the car before they have to change the powerplant to meet CAFE.

Personally I like the Camaro but I don't see me ever buying one...

another day, another Camaro "spy shot". I'm beginning to feel that GM is leaking them themselves, just to keep the Camaro hype going. Viral marketing....

Nothing like spending BUCCO BUCKS on development and such, only to have the car take forever to come to market, when gas could realistically be $5.00 to $7.00 a gallon! I agree with Walt. I'm tired of seeing it! Personally, IMHO, it doesn't look right! This design would be good for about 5 years down the road, not 6 months from now.
