It'll be heavier, but it'll have some power to get it to move (mind you it needs it)
I'm thinkin 07-09 GT500ish with more HP and an IRS

I hope and pray that the Z/28 will do MORE with LESS against the GT500. Imagine for the moment a 475hp car that out performs a what 540 hp car. That to me would be best bragging rights in the world!!!! If done right, the Z/28 should TAKE-OUT both the 302 Boss AND the GT500. Prediction: Again IF done right, The Z/28 will put an end to the Horse Power Wars and be declared the UNDISPUTED WINNER!!!

I think the SS should have been the one with the supercharger and the Z/28 with a 302 or other small V-8 to go head to head with the Boss 302, like in the old days.

I agree that the Z/28 should have been more true to it's heritage especially now in the era of the new Boss. Z/28 kinda just seems like a marketing ploy now.

Z28 -Boss
ZL-1 -GT500
It's pretty much how it was back int the day. Z28's and Bosses tearing up Trans-am, SS's and GT's tearing up the street and the GT500/ZL1 tearing up the strip.
Unfortunately the ZL1 is going to be an uber limited SLP creation, not something your average joe can buy.
