I would have to admit that I am one of those "Straight line", "Stop light to Stop light" kind of guys. I am also attracted to the retro interior & exterior look as well.
That's what the Mustang is to me. That's what makes the Mustang a "Mustang".

I expect we will see a better overall package when the Mustang gets that rumored new platform in 2012??, but I believe Ford will still leave the Stang a bit "primitive" for the die hards.

This topic is about the "Z" and I have to admit, I like the car. Maybe someday, I'll have one of those too! But, my expectations for the "Z" are a lot different then they would be for a Mustang, Camaro or Challenger.

I only have one or two more Mustangs left in me. The last Mustang, I intend to keep forever. But, I am interested in other cars, and I would welcome a new Lincoln Coupe.
I want, Luxury, ride and performance. I guess I am just getting old.

Everyone here has pretty much stated everything I could but just to throw my .02 in..

1. 350Z's are ugly cars with zero style. From the big fat butt to the curved front it looks like an stretched fish bowl. Add the new "hood with a woody" for the 07 looks worse

2. I trust a car and driver review and compairison about as much as I would a criminal. To me it's like reading Consumer Reports and expecting both intelligent writing and an un-bias opinion, ain't happening

3. I don't need to validate my choice in cars by saying "look see Car and Driver and CR say it's a good choice". I bought a Mustang not a camry so I don't need to hide behind supposed "professional" opinions to explain why I bought an ugly lame car.

I test drove a 350Z a few weeks back, and it's cool, and fast, but there's just no storage in it!

I don't think you could put much in it for a weekend trip!

I ordered a 08 GT instead.......
