Well, the price should be $140,000. Since Ford GT is not that hard to find anymore (like it was when first went on sale), its not a surprise that prices went down.

Its supply and demand. The more there are the less money they command, the less there are the more money the bring in. If the Tungsten edition is only produced in limited quantities it will be worth more in the long run.

In a few years when the production run has ended I think the prices will rise again.

For a future buyer soon will be the time to get one

We've been talking the overpriced GT for some time now. I'm not surprised to see the price drops. Not too long ago there was a post by someone sho said that his local dealer had refused an offer of $300k for the car. I just laughed when I read that.

I just delivered ours last week. I got to take a ride in it and let me say, whatever the price it is worth it. Riding in this car is undescribable, I can only imagine driving it.

The GT's mileage is even better (well, sticker mileage) than some F-150s with the bigger V8. When I went in to order my Mustang GT, I said to the sales guy "I want to order a GT" (and I've done business there prior to this) So.....out he comes with the massive book and after trying to locate Redfire (sorry, not a color option) I realize that he is working up an order sheet for a GT...not a Mustang GT.

Two of the four Ford dealers in this area have unsold GTs in their showroom. One is roped off; the other is not. Sticker is $157,000.

My dealer is probably gonna be kicking himself in the rear too. When his GT finally came in someone offered him $205,000 on the spot and the dealer refused it. He then stuck it on Ebay hoping for more but, last I heard the highest bid is only $180,000. They have it all roped off in the showroom so you can't touch it. They won't let me drive it either! :P

Yeah the 2006's are coming out soon...what's a 2005 worth then? The dealers who have been saying 250K will soon be lucky to get MSRP. There are 32 new ones per week and the prices are falling. In 6 months you'll be able to deal on this car.
The way the early Vipers went down ,this car will also. 10 years from now they may start going up again.

I was at my dealer last night, my brother was picking up his new truck. And the girl we use said that she had a buyer offer 240 for theirs, and they turned him down. Plus, I saw 2 in the Auto trader this week, one for 218 the other for 219.
