The New Dodge Challenger Takes Kowalski's Last Ride
Good times!
And as an added bonus, there's Edmunds comparo between the Challenger SRT-8 and the Mustang Bullitt! Edmunds take: the Challenger is the better car in every respect, from raw performance and handling, to the interior.

The biggest single problem that keeps me from RUNNING out and buying one of these....no manual transmission option, Plus the fact that the Challenger is base priced starting at $40K, No thanks! No self respecting muscle car lover would drive a HEMI powered car with an automatic tranny....Come on Dodge, Get with the program!!
But even so i am with you, i could never buy that car with an auto.

You know I could have sworn that they said in Vanishing point that the Challenger was supercharged. I could be wrong but i seem to remeber Kawalski saying that.
I know it probably wasn't for real but it a sticking point in my head everythime I read about vanishing point
