What do you folks think of this? I think it is really cool. Probably would be another hit to thebig three though. I think the engine make is BMW. I think they have recently debuted a 3 liter diesel with those specs?

That's kinda cool. It'll definitely be easier to notice than a Crown Vic or Impala. Nice Interior, well up front at least, that's one back seat I don't ever wanna be in. Overall it kinda reminds me of Robo Cop. It kinda creeps me out that "The Car" actually scans near by tags and alerts the driver if something is wrong though.

Nice Rack, gun rack that is.

Check out the cut out's in the seat back for the suspect's arms behind them in cuffs.

I think the scanning is pretty cool. Cops scan themselves anyway. Now the job gets done with them paying more attention to other things, like driving.

Now I'll start to worry if when they want to pull me over they can just hit a button in their car that turns off my car. Not that I would run,but that would just really bother me.

I wouldn't mind picking up one of those after it gets retired from the service...

Molded plastic seats in back allow for easy cleaning...
Presumably to hose out the blood, bodily fluids and excrement.

No civilian versions will be available and once they are used up, they are intended to be returned to Carbon Motors to be decommissioned and recycled. They are not intended to end up as regular cars because all the emergency equipment in integrated into the car and designed to be removed. For example there is not a regular seat that can be swapped in for the molded rear seat.

Well, they aren't going to get anywhere if that's the tact they're on.

Fleet sales are often offered at a discount, so the earnings margin is very low to maintain that manufacturer in the long run. I don't see why they can't make a normal automobile for the general public. In the looks department alone it has major points. Hope it packs some muscle to back it up

I'd hate to see Ford lose the business, but the car looks pretty awesome and I think that police need and deserve the best vehicle that they can get their hands on. Perhaps this could inspire Ford to make a similarly equipped Interceptor package on whatever replaces the Crown Vic eventually.
