Nope, think South America exclusively. And I'll give another hint since I don't want to drag this on and tick off the home team here.........the car company Ford bought the plant were this car was built from, and the basic structure of the car itself, is Renault.

Dang. I knew it had to be a Renault of some kind, given their affection for 3 lug wheels.

The Corcel was effectively a Ford-i-fied Renault 12, although the car benefited greatly from the transformation particularly in terms of styling. Interesting tidbit, the Renault roots meant that this was one of Ford's first fwd cars.

Another odd tidbit, for some reason I really want one.

Your up.

Ok. Here you go. There are probably a number of versions out there, so to start, you'll need to nail this one to get it right.

Looks like a Sierra XR6 (or XR8) for South Africa.

I don't know if they went by any other name(s).

Yeah, I knew what it was as soon as PT Rocks posted it, but I couldn't think of what South Africa actually tagged to the end of their little, 5.0L powered Sierra sedan. By the time I made the XR8 connection Zoran had already beaten me.
