I basically really like the F5 Camaro except for the rear end treatment, mainly what I'll refer to as the "upside down" tail lights and resultant awkward cut lines for the bumper. Flip those light over, i.e., the broader section on the bottom, and I think the whole effect would just be that much more cohesive.

Anyway, looks like the F5 is getting close to hitting the streets judging by how finished these look.

The concept and bumblebee looked awesome.

That looks like a mix of rx8,charger,and fuglyness. Without the two tone paint scheme that car is unimpressive.

 

Are we looking at the same car??? I think its awesome.

 

The front has gotten really pointy, combined with the plethora of faux scoops and absolutely crappy lights (front and back both), it makes the thing look like a kit car and not a good one.

 

I think one thing is for sure, this car will elicit either the "I hate it" or "I love it!". There won't be many middle of the road people on it. I stand by my guess. About 60,000 units first year. With gas going the way it is, it may not make that.

 

i hope there is no crazy markup, like with the challenger.

The lights look more detailed than quickies from the hardware store as posted on forums.

Wow, at least it has REAL projectors. Think HID's will be an option? Now Ford, is it really so hard to put projector Xenons in a Mustang?!

 

So many parts look just tacked on, fake, or afterthoughts to me

- The side gills/wanabe slats make it look like the plastic melted and ribbed/bunched up.
- the rear reverse lights look like an afterthought plopped in the middle of the bumper
- the interior layout..nuff said

The overall shape is good, and yes the look hasn't changed much, but the proportions have.

 

Is there a straight body line anywhere on that car except for the crease down the middle of body sides? It's like the stylists were mandated to make every line on the car have a curve or angle in it.

 

I have to say, while imperfect, I like the look

 

Your kidding right? This car will be marked up CRAZY STUPID!! Chevy dealers are chomping at the bit for this to arrive.
