Mini to bring back the Moke

http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsAr...llCars/253365/

BMW is working on a production version of the Mini Beachcomber concept, first revealed last December.
Company sources say two versions of the Beachcomber are on the drawing board at the Mini design studios in Munich.

Moke is also an original Mini which was built from 1964 until 1993.

Make the interior washable with a water hose and people around here will be all over it! I would be too.

The Mini Countryman is enough of an abomination, no need for this. Unfortunately, like Porsche's Cayenne - this BMW may do well too.

I knew about that one, but still, just stick with the mini if that's the best you can do

The original Mini in the 60's and 70's was available in a variety of different body styles, including a pickup truck, panel van, sedan, Countryman, Moke, etc. I don't like all of the new Mini concepts and vehicles, but there certainly is historical precedent for many of them.
