Just picked up my wife's new Mariner tonight. What a sweet ride. Fully loaded with every option but the 4x4. Right now they have rebates of $2000 and if you're X-plan, you get $500 on top of that PLUS your X-plan discount. Altogether I got a $28,000 SUV for $23084 out the door. This thing is soooo sweet. The heated seats are going to be perfect for the 6 degree weather we're going to have on Thursday

Congratulations Paper!

The Mariner's look great. My Fiancee almost but a Mariner, but chose a Five Hundred instead.

What color did you purchase? Is your interior the two-tone?

 

We got the Norsea blue with (tan) suede leather interior. I can't say it's two tone, but there is silver trim all over the interior with a marble looking console. It's sweet. We got it just in time too, our baby is due in the next 3 days

Funny thing is, she said I could get a Mustang GT instead if I wanted one. I couldn't do it. She knows that I want a Mach 1 or better car so I did the right thing and got the Mariner.

The 500 is real nice too but the wife likes to run things over so I figured we'd better get the SUV :shock:

P.S. - I love the movie The Outlaw Josey Wales. That has got to be the best western ever made.

Tell ya what, I'll let you borrow the camera and take pics in the weather we're having (20 here now and falling). It's cold!!!!
