Mercury Meta One Concept

The Mercury Meta One is an advanced scientific research concept that displays the evolution of automotive design, research and engineering. It includes emerging safety features, electronics that personalize the interior and the world's first PZEV diesel hybrid powertrain, which uses renewable bio-mass diesel fuel.

Meta One features Lane Departure Warning and Collision Mitigation by Braking &endash; technologies that could help prevent or lessen the severity of many crashes.

The interior features a factory-installed wireless "portal," streaming video reception from the SIRIUS satellite network and a unique "KeyDA" ignition key with powerful computing memory for PDA services.

In addition to its research role, Meta One hints at what Mercury's coming crossover could look like.
