wow. that's all that needs to be said, wow. That is stunning in every sense of the word!
This and that Jag E-type vert that Clarkson drove on Top Gear are both incredbily beautiful! Well, I guess, when you start with an E-type as a base, it pretty well has to look good!

Why Jaguar has ****ed about for years/decades and NOT produce a proper E-type successor is beyond me. There they have about one of the all-time most beautiful and iconic sports cars, ever, in the known universe, in their portfolio and they just continually dither is silly. Jag management must have some masochistic self-flagellation thing going on ("We certainly don't want to make a new Jag E-type that men would sell off their wives and children to purchase...").
That said, they did recently roll out a CX-16 concept car which basically is a neo E-Type and actually sounds serious about producing it.

Saw this car sometime last year and has ever since made me want to do a resto mod to one of the less desirable E Types. Found one on BAT for cheap with a Ford 351 already in it. Boy was I tempted. I just don't have a place to put any toys right now.

But it is certainly its equal. These many years later.
Brilliant! I think that best suits it.
