A local Chevron was selling gas at 26 cents/gallon due to a computer glitch. Apparantely it was supposed to be set at $2.599 but instead ended up being $0.2599. It was at that price for around two days before the manager noticed.

I find it hard to believe that one of their customers didn't let them know!

Too bad it wasn't around here. If I would have found out my whole family would have been there.

I didn't find out about it until it hit the local news.

Just shows how swift the clerks are. You would think someone would wonder why everyone is buying $2-$300 worth of gas instead of $20-$30 worth.

The clerks are making minimum wage. Do you think they really care? Heck, I bet they filled up their tanks several times before the manager caught it!

I wish that would happen here, in the last 2-3 weeks gas has jumped from $2.08 to $2.58.

Dude, that's sooooo true! My friend always used to work at gas stations and we got so much free beer because of it, it wasn't even funny!
