Yesterday it was $2.59 but today it was $2.49 (for 87). I hope that's a trend!

Well, I can dream, can't I?

Not here in the Mid-Atlantic.
We had a average increase of about $0.30 in the last 4 weeks and the price still is going up almost everyday.

(I hope we see a decrease soon.)

Southeast Texas and take pics of what exactly? The prices on the signs? I can take a pic of it saying $2.49 but what exactly is that going to prove?

I suppose. It's a long story but gas is $2.65 for regular in Florida.

Unhappy

I got this in an email this morning....

Anyone interested in letting the White House know your feelings about the price of gas? Well, here's your chance. Send an email to:

comments@whitehouse.gov

vice.president@whitehouse.gov

Please write daily to let them know your concern. The more people that protests this, the more likely they will take action. And, they really do keep track of incoming mail and the topics, even if they do not respond to each. Be sure to put a subject line, and keep it brief if you want it to be read.

You might also want to write your Congressmen. We've got to do something besides complain!

Check out this site if you want to see what others around the country (and Canada) are paying:

http://www.gasbuddy.com/

It looks like gas is as cheap as $2.37 in Sarasota, FL!

That site is from the same people. The state specific sites link off of GasBuddy. I knew someone had posted it sometime in the past but I couldn't remember who.

BTW, your suggestion to send email to the president is good but don't expect the president (or any part of the federal government) to do anything that would have an immediate impact on gas prices.
