Picture one: I was all "That's pretty nifty lookin... although the mirrors are too far back, and that weirdo B pillar scoopy thing is.. weird.
Picture two: OMG what happened to the back end?!!
Picture three: Hood seems to be a little short, but it's probably like that on purpose. Overall a nice snarlin' Lexus though...
Picture four: KILL IT! KILL IT WITH FIRE. Man, that had to be at least 3 big ugly sticks they whacked it with.
Picture five: Interior = Win, at least from this angle and amount of information.
Verdict? 3.5 out of 5. The engine is nice, but immaterial to the packaging. You gotta look good too when you go fast: http://www.supercars.dk/bugatti/buga...n_d234m27.aspx

According to Motor Trend, MSRP will be close to $400,000.

More interesting looking than good looking, but at least they seem to be developing their own stylistic theme raterh than simply aping European themes. It does seem to be a fantastic car, though, and finally, a true Japanese foray into the supercar realm. Its 4.8l V10, revving to an incredible 9K, really does sound like an F1 motor.
It would be nice to see them do a more regular(!) exotic in the Ferrari Italia, Lambo Gallardo class ($100K-$200K) than the stratospheric $350-$400K realm -- not that I'd be able to afford anything near any of them short of a winning PowerBall ticket.

Put some red marks near the headlights and it could do kabuki... The race version looks better because some of those questionable details are obscured. Makes them appear more like a Celica or Supra. Looks like the Ford GT and ZR1 could still take it. Given the est. price of $400K, Ferrari and McLaren offerings are better alternatives - and wouldn't we all like to have that "problem"? Looking forward to seeing the engine in a better car.
This car, while not bad looking, is WAY OUT OF TOUCH, when you can buy an F430 Scuderia, or the new 458 Italia, for almost $120K LESS and have a car that has the provinance, and race pedigree. And while Lexus did race the car a few times, lets be honest, when one thinks of victorius racing teams that make road cars, Lexus is the farthest from my mind! Personally, I'll save about $150,000 and take a Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni in Verde Ithica!!
I highly doubt the motor will end up in a Supra, as the motor is from their F1 team, and is all hand-built. Rumor is, the motor will be in the new Lotus Esprit, when its released in a year.
