Lets Hear It For The Blue Oval Service!

This is reportedly a true story:

Idiot Sighting:
My husband and I reported to the Ford dealership to pick up our new car. When we arrived, we were told the keys had been accidentally locked in the car. When we went in the back, we saw the mechanic feverishly working to unlock the door. I spoke to him from the passenger side of the car. While standing there, I instinctively tried the door, which OPENED. I told the mechanic "Hey, its open". He replied "Yea, I know but I'm still working on this side".

That sounds like a joke to me but hey, ya never know. Truth is often stranger than fiction!

From some of the dealership service stories I read around here, I wouldn't be surprised if it were true.

no wait.....maybe he was working on it because it really WAS locked....thus...maybe broken. When I lock my doors with the switch...it locks all of them, and unlocks all of them..if the drivers side didnt unlock with the switch, that's a problem. as far as I know...power locks dont lock individual doors.....just trying to give him the bennifit of the doubt of course...
