Wonder woman's jet had that technology years ago!

Seriously. How cool is that?'

That is pretty dang cool, especially for a rock crawling SUV.

One can only speculate this applied to, say, aircraft, military especially, or tanks, two places where 360 awareness is critical. Tether the Oculus Rift to various fuselage-mounted cameras integrated with virtual reality imagery and voila, from a pilot or tank driver's perspective, transparent vehicle.

That is cool looking. I wonder if you could make see though floorboards.

It's not actually transparent. There is a display being shown on the windshield projecting what's underneath.

It's cool, but I'm no fan. One Land Rover out of every 10,000 will see off road terrain, and this is just more stuff to malfunction. I prefer the older Discoveries you could fix with a hammer and duct tape. If you get out on a trail and a sensor gets wet and breaks, you're SOL.
