The digger (the yellow one) was delivered today. Old, noisey, but bloody good fun. moved 18000lbs of roadstone this evening in 3 hours. Would have taken a lot longer with barrows! Just one leak on a hydraulic line union that needs to be repaired, but that it is. Not bad for a 40 year old tractor. The one in the picture is actually smaller (and 15 years younger) than the one we now have. HUGE wheels on the new one. Gonna give it a coat of paint on the weekend, make it look like someone loves it. It will be cool being able to paint a vehicle with gloss paint and a paintbrush!

Yep, 3 arce backyard, but the farm across the road does add to the
"in-country" feel.
The fields were planted in wheat this year.

James--a bucket loader sure does makes some jobs much easier.

the picture is not the actual one we have. The one we have has a good backhoe, just a shame about the hydraulics! They can be fixed pretty inexpensively though, so no real problem. I had it working all day today, just using the loader and it never missed a beat. Great workhorse.
