+1 on the paint and chrome! Yeah, throw some low profile tires on the rear wheels and get front wheels to match. Don't forget the Escalade emblems! Then put in a tuned V8 turbo diesel engine, a slammin' sound system...

James, I didn't know you had a farm. I'd offer to come drive your tractor when I'll have some time off from teaching in Poland but I'm afraid I'd wreck your crops. How big is the farm and what do you grow?

We do not grow anything (luckily), we stable horses. It is not a big farm (not many are here), just over 40 acres. We have some rather severe drainage issues, which were made worse by the floods in July, hence the excavator. The other one is for general work, pulling, pushing and the like.

If you can get a flight to Manchester, we will hapily put you up, and you can have a go on the tractors!

Thanks. Let's see how my schedule works out. I sure don't mind getting my hands or boots dirty.

At our place in Maryland, we use this one...
(We'll have to upgrade to larger ones in a few years when we move to the new farm in Missouri.)

Between all of my family we have about 10 tractors, I dont remember all models, but theres a Ford 8n, 6000, 5000, 3000 and I think a 9n still. A huge 4wd john deere w/ front loader and cab and more.

A good friend of mine has one called a deutz, which ive never heard of before his. Pretty stout for its size and only haveing a 3cyl diesel.

You can leave the country but the country doesn't leave you.
