It's good to see Oldsmobile hanging in there despite the notable handicap of being dead.

But What the is going on over at Landrover?!?

How do they define "problem"? Is a broken wiper or a broken tranny counted as a single incident of equal weight?

That always seems to be the BIG question with these studies.

Dunno. JD Powers doesn't elaborate on what constitutes a "problem" as far as I know.

Some rich doorknob at my work drives his parents two super expensive Range Rovers to work. He is just about the worst driver I have ever seen. I think hes probally the cause of the skewed results.

I really don't think those are skewed results that much. Heck look at Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury all were above average and heck Mercury (which isn't even Ford's premiere brand) topped Toyota.

Ford Motor Co's big three names have all risen in quality. Plus I think it will interesting to see what comes of next year with all the issues Toyota has had thus far for 2006. Remember these results are based from the 2005 model year vehicles.

But again as myself and many others have said, the only person that can be the judge for your own opinion is yourself.

Those errors were especially prominent in the Range Rover, which used the new Jaguar engine but retained the original BMW electrical architecture.
Aha.....typical of LR that. But that is what adds to their charm.....
