Insane racing disaster
Yo! Check out this post on Autoblog:
http://www.autoblog.com/2006/11/26/v...e-in-the-rain/
A crazy downpour in the middle of a GT race in Brittain, and some really nice cars take some pretty rough hits, and one dude seemed like he totally bit the dust, but he slipped through somehow...
A couple S7's, a viper, a TVR, a Ferrari 600 or something, a Marcos... sooo much carnage.

Not sure whether to blame the race marshals for not calling the race off, or the drivers for driving too fast for the conditions.
For the former, safety should have been a more paramount issue.
For the latter, whatever the conditions, you only have X amount of traction availabe -- more in the dry, less in the rain -- and it's part of the driving challenge to drive within that traction envelope, whatever it might be.
