I can't believe what the Yenko cars are getting, they are just COPO cars ordered by the Yenko dealership with some stripes and a few other things installed with no real competition history yet they get quarter to a half million dollar offers.

Yep I see a pretty rough Yenko Nova once in awhile in my neighborhood. It's probably still worth something?

Hell yes. The Novas were the rarest ones.

There should never be a pretty rough Yenko Nova anywheres. What kind of stupid redneck doesn't either restore or sell a car like that? Next time you see him, you should just T-bone the damm car and do it some justice.

The former owner of those cars lived one town over from me in Mountain Lakes, NJ. It's a very wealthy community more accustomed to Mercedes and Bentleys than muscle cars.

He's probably doing the Lambada now, hands around his ankles, with some huge tatoo'd dude named Bubba.

Occasionally you see somebody that doesn't really have the means to restore a rare car but they managed to get hold of it.

There is a guy in my area with a '68 GT350 in rough shape but its his baby and you will probably have to pry it from his cold dead hands before he gives it up. Same with a few Camaros, I remember a 68 that sat on a corner lot and just fell into disrepair as the years rolled on and the best part is if you walked up and knocked on the door the owner would greet you with "its not for sale".

It seems like a travesty but hell more power to them if they are living some small piece of the dream.

It's a fine line between rough and original these days. Survivor muscle cars are bringing really big bucks lately.
