I saw Lincoln MKS today on the highway and that is one great looking car.

In few years I might get a used one since I really can't afford a $40,000 car.

Since my car is a "weekend toy" I would have gone with the car below. 2006 Mini Cooper S JCW Package GP Kit. Only 2000 made for the world (with the car's number on both the dash, and on the roof, above the window), and I believe only 400 were for the US. I've only seen 1 in person. It was at a light, just down the street from home. I was in my Mustang and he pulled next to met at the light. We chatted for a few minutes. I knew EXACTLY what he had. We both complimented each others cars! Pretty cool owner and it was a SWEET little car! Its getting GREAT money for resale too.

You're right on the name, however the image could easily be flipped to create LHD. It is definitely a photoshop, though. I'm not putting it down, it's a great car in it's own right but I was amused since the G8 essentially is real-life a photoshop of the Holden.

OK

I'm not sure though that if the Mustang didn't exist, kind of like Bill Bailey and It's a Wonderful Life, I don't think those fbods would have existed either. Who knows what the world would have been like if Mustangs were never born? Scary thought.

A Lincoln Mark VII. 87 and up. Undobutedly the best car I've ever owned, and if I couldn't have Awesome, I'd have a Mark. Anything but black, 'cause I ain't cleanin' it, and anything I consider putrid. Light seafoam green clearcoat, for example. Ugh.

Second, of course, is Muskrat... or one like her. White with red, of course.

Third place would be a redone with modern a 93 LX 5.0 setup 78 Mustang II Hatch. Because a v6 4 speed II hatch was my first, and I loved the little POS that broke every three weeks. In Tangerine with Tan interior.

That's it. Nothing else.

SRT8 Charger. If price was an issue, R/T with Road and Track package Charger.

And the world would be very different if there were no Mustangs. But I think the Muscle car era would have just come a little later. Cause wasn't the Camaro born to compete with the Mustang? Someone would have started it at some point.

I think if I had to replace the Mach with a Ford. I would choose a 1987 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe.

My non-Ford would be a 2002-2003 M5.

If I could not have had a Mustang and could have afforded them these would have been my choices, a 1970 Boss 302 Cougar Eliminator and a 1969 Z/28 RS

Well, I would like one of these Fords instead:
Sport Track or Ranger

Grand Marquis w big rims, a thumping sound system and a mean PI or Termi engine w Flowmasters

And my non Fords would be:
626 (I may end up with one of these, since I'm getting a deal for one in exchange for $$ and my Protege, a 2002 ES V6 in gold )

Camaro or T/A

Or one of these:

A german Ford T5.

I'd prob be a camaro guy if it wasn't for the mustangs.... but if Ford never built the Mustang, gm would never have built the Camaro, so now we have a paradox.
