Say for whatever reason you couldn't own a Mustang what vehicle would you drive? To make this interesting lets say that it is something that you could afford so everyone isn't saying Ferrari or Lamborghini.

If I could no longer have a Mustang I'd probably go for a Charger SRT8 or an Infinity G37 coupe.

I also would have bought the Challenger SRT8. Ive loved muscle cars since I was a kid. I've always wanted one that ran instead of just living in my garage. My father and grandfather both love and loved mustangs. My sentimentality pushed me towards mustangs. My 67 convertible project car didn't hurt either.

If you factor those things out, the Challenger is a big comfortable cruiser. It's more what I would need to round out my garage. Until recently, I also had a modded Audi A4 for canyon carving. The stang's surprisingly good handling allowed me to let the Audi go. If I had bought the challenger, I would still need my beloved a4.

Guy down my street just sold his T-type. Really cool because you see a lot less T-types than Grand Nationals.

I know. I really almost like them more. A few years back I seen a really clean low mileage '82 Grand national ( before the black has they say) I was really drooling. It was a fine example of the start of the grand national for buick. never seen one again.

I hadn't owned an automobile since 1975, so no Mustang = more room in the garage.

Hmmm....

In the used department;
Z06
CTS-V
G8 GXP
Caymen

In the new department;
Chevrolet SS
Charger SRT8
Charger R/T
Camaro SS, 1LE or ZL1 (although the head space issues would put this one down the list considerably).

On a lark;
Focus ST
FR-S

Ferrari 288 GTO. Or a '13 Viper, still looking at one of those, can't wait to see one in person, should be soon.
