Ok, guys...If ya had the money and Ford was producing the Cobra Roadster, which one of the two would ya have in your driveway?

I'm gonna have to go with the Cobra, just good ol' bare knuckle driving

Very tough choice. I love both of these cars, but as of now, I think that the design of the Cobra Roadster is too boxy, not as sleek and stylish as the GT. So I went with the GT, but they're both awesome cars.

ooooh... such a tough call. I chose the gt40, probably cause i've been obsessed with it lately, and having dreams of it, which is kind of disturbing for me... but man, its such a sweet car. I like the cobra in its current form, i think it looks awesome, aggressive yet still sleek somehow, and its got some serious power. A really fast roadster would be sweet, what with the air in the hair and all... but i just love the low slung-ness of the GT. And man, that car has a nice hiney.

i was thinking though, with cars like this... normal driving's gotta be pretty boring, around town, and even on slower highways, you'd never shift out of 1st. how often would you get a chance to actually take one of these cars anywhere near its limit? But i guess thats what our society is all about right? Luxury is having something you'll never really need, but knowing its there anyways.

Cobra. Nothing beats top-down driving.

if I had my own track, or access to the Autobahn, or anywhere else I could use its full potential, GT hands-down. I darn near keel over every time I see that beast. But if I'm restricted by The Law, The open-air experience of the Cobra might just make up for not being able to plant the throttle.

Reality check: I like to say there's a point where things are just expensive enough that most people who can afford one can afford two. I think the GT fits that category well, so I imagine the real choice for most buyers will be: Which do i want to drive today?

GT

The Cobra Concept needs just a little body tweaking to make it all that it can be! The front fenders need some more roll and tuck around the fender area.

I am interested to see the new Cobra Daytona Coupe at Pebble Beach this August.

Probably the Cobra as well.

But if I had the cash I would buy a used Modena before anything else ..... I love that car.

Okay, so I win the lottery, and I buy a Cobra and a GT. Then I swap motors from each to the other. Dosen't that seem how it should be?

Neither. I love the GT but the Cobra looks weird to me. I'd buy a Cobra replicar from Superformance.

GT, the look and the power are second to nothing in my book.

but isn't the cobra supposed to be the more powerful of the two, well, as far as the concept goes anyways. Ain't that why someone's suggesting an engine swap? I know in production form, the cobra could very well just get the GT engine. I thought it was pretty crazy that the cobra was gonna be around the $90K price range while having around 600hp or 650 or whatever they were saying, making this car ideal for blowing away the viper and new z06, as far as performance to dollar.

Yeah, to me it just seems a better fit for the Ford GT to get the 605 HP V10, and the Cobra to get the 5.4 SC.

I would have to say the, Cobra, all the dedication and hard work that went into making, juts the one concept, it it's but on the market and i have that kinda money, it's mine, wont be in my driveway though, cant trust most people with such a nice car.

Side note: I find the GT to be to unrealistic, and not usable to it's full extent. Were as the Cobra though fast you can still cruise, with the top down... Juts my ppinion though
