V16 engine from Bugatti

http://www.seriouswheels.com/abc/Bugatti-E...ne-1280x960.htm

Now that would make our Stangs fly !!!

Haha - lol

Actually, reading the decription closer it's not a V-16 but a W-16 which is 2 V8 engines offset by 90 degrees - wierd !!

Hope my 05GT has room for that sucker !!

Don't forget the Bugatti has four turbochargers.

It's a W-16, not a V-16.

oh yah, that engine is awesome. i also would love the paddle shift. I dont see how you couldnt come up with something for the automatics in the mustangs, that would at least give you the paddleshift/or manual shift by a tap of the gear shifter like chryslers. Transmission is so electronic these days anyway. I wish I was an engineer in those respects, i would definitely work on something. I am sure thousands upon thousands of people would buy them to add on etc. Anyway back on subject that engine is awesome. Cant believe they shoved 16 cylinders in that thing. It must be a pretty darn big engine, and the cylinders must not be that big to have two v8's at 90 degrees. 1001 hp ill take it. Anyway ill keep dreaming. In the meantime I dont have to dream, I have a beautiful new stang.

The engine itself is just huge, its like 1/3rd the size of the entire car.

Talk to the guys at Tiger Racing. They have developed a paddle shift 05 Mustang GT. They are working closely with Ford on it and are optimistic it will be an option in future Mustangs.

try checking out a hot rodding magazine or two, there is a company offering paddle shifter kits for a/t cars. though, i doubt they have any applications for the new mustang. mostly gm's (electronically controlled) trannys. maybe sometime in the future...
