For all the non believers, I threw a picture of me with the car in, and a few with my car in the background. Please excuse the messy garage.

Yes, they are the base wheels for 2008. WhenI get my income taxes, I will be throwing a set of Z06 rims on it.

Not to knock the stang but going from a V6 stang to a 420+ HP Vette must be like stepping off a huffy on to a Ducati! Man very nice. Welcome to the dark side, You'll find modding that LS very rewarding, some bolt ons and a tune and you'll be pushing that 400+ to the wheels. Just don't become like alot of vette owners/forum members thinking they are holier than thou. .

That's Sweet Mark congrats. Be careful with it, but have fun. Do yourself a favor and try to keep the miles low and hang on to it till your 50. I can't tell you the times my "old" friends and I sit around and talk about the cars we used to have and say "man I wish I still had that one". Who knows, when you get er paid off maybe you could add the GT500 later. You know start a whole collection!

Keeping the miles low may be hard. Its just too fun to drive. I do plan on keeping it for a long time, and I plan on finding a used Shelby down the road.

First off congrats. Sweet ride, beautiful color. Now my rant, just another FORD problem, when you can't get a GT500 for a REAL price but can go get a Vette for less.

Good grief! I wish I could've afforded a new Corvette when I was 18. Heck, I can't afford one now!
