James, as soon as i got to
However.....there is just one problem, I now have to say four words that I never believed I would...........
i knew. i could feel it. my sincere and heartfelt condolences to you and your family. i never thought i'd see it happen. we will miss you, as your japanese blando-automobile will slowly but surely it will steal your soul...

i will forever remember you beer jokes and your tolerable levels foreign-ness. now that you've gone Honda, theres no return. the lack of expression, the lack of pizzaz and personality the car will try to create its own personality anjd soul, by stealing yours. soon you will be the shell, carcass if i may, of a once "cool" being. im so sorry..

if it helps any, ill build a memorial for you "coolness", as today it has died

goodbye old friend. while i may hear from you again, it wont be the same.... you will be a sensible, bland, "face in the crowd" the James i knew is gone

Is the Felicia 'that' bad? (Reference to the "Thank God that's over" quote.)
Jason, we're talking about 10-years-old Skoda that have 1.3L engine with 43 hp. It didn't had any options, no AC or not even a AM/FM Radio. The clutch was so hard and you had to push gas all the way down for car to start moving. When you get on the highway with Felicia it took a while to reach 120 kmp (75 mph).

Here, I even took some pictures of Felicia:

Yep.
And it cost me 23 euros/day (around $28).
For a car like that, that was way too much.

Sorry, I didn't mean to.

Why would you be ashamed driving Fiat? Am I the only one who likes Tipo?

I have always felt that Fiats have terrible looks, expensive to service and don't feel as safe as other cars. The Tipo is the exception to the rule on the feeling of safety, feels like a solid car

Did it come with the mower deck option or will you need that separate?

I confess. Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea culpa. I owned a 1973 Fiat 128SL. 1.3 liter engine and I think 64 hp, though my memory isn't as good as it once was (as in yesterday). It was fun to drive, very reliable, except when the clutch cable broke and I had to drive it sans clutch to get it fixed. If you've never done that, you don't know what you're missing, especially on Southern California freeeways and in city traffic! Ah, just another automotive adventure.

And since I did most of the work myself, including rebuilding the engine, it wasn't expensive to service. But those were in my younger days.....

But 23 Euros a day for Felicia? Zoran, next time go for a cheaper car.

Scott, only cheaper rent-a-car was Yugo. When I first called and made reservation for Felicia I had no idea how that car looks like or his performance. But I was there for only 3 weeks so I didn't really care what I was driving (a lot of people can't even afford that).

Next time I'm renting Yugo. No kidding.

Honda's are great...especially when you have a family. Our "other car" is a '03 Honda Element and it's just perfect! You have to do what's best for your family!
You nerd, that thing is likely to fall apart, get stuck in a ditch, or snap the rear axle, if you attempt to take that thing off road. Civics, bleh, well compacts are the safest vehicles to be driving in but if it works run with it. This is what I want. In a few months I should get it too.

Then I must be Mr. Nerd Reliability wise the car is surprisingly excellent. Just a tad underpowered since she got the V8 bug

Well, after a month and a half of owning the all conquering Honda, it has made me realise a few things.

1) Stock brakes on a 2000 V6 mustang are crap! The honda has two settings on the brakes, off and through the windshield on

2) Suspension, the Mustang is good-ish, but the honda has a much nicer ride.

Apart from that, I hate the bloody thing, I have never driven a car that feels so underpowered, the slush box is crappy and the gear ratio's are stupid (4100rpm at 80mph compared to 2700 in the Mustang)

But...... It means that the dogs no longer get ferried around in the Mustang, they have the huge area at the back of the Honda to mess up now

Overall, it was a good purchase as the dogs are now seperated from the passenger cabin, and the fuel economy is much better than the Mustang. When I drive it to work, it saves me £4.50 ($7.80) in gas PER DAY!!!

there you go, update over
