compare apples to apples like I did with KBB. Then Hyundai is the MOST EXPENSIVE. Not even considering the resale value is in the toilet as compared to Honda/Toyota.
Get over Korean cars.. They are for people who have no clue. Look at these comparisons.. Hyundai LAST place.. or somewhere the middle.. Crap cars.. Always have been and always will be

Or this one (Genesis vs Avalon vs Taurus)

edit- I just looked on ebay and sure enough. The first sonata(a 2004 model) with 127k miles gets $4k. The first Accord with the same mileage(TWO years older!!!!! no less) gets $7k. Case closed. Not even close

There is also a 2004 Taurus with 67,000 miles for $3,700. Does that mean that a 2012 Fusion (also Ford's mid-size car) is gonna have the same depreciation?

This was a first Hyundai in the USA, a 1986 Pony. Back then their biggest competition was Yugo.
Compare this picture to what they're offering now. In the past 25 years they went from competing with a Yugo to a #4 company in the world. And they're still not slowing down, they're gonna be #1 someday.

I'm not saying that Hyundai/Kia is much better than domestics (where did you get that from?), I'm just saying that they're offering the most for the $$$.
I have no connections with Hyundai/Kia, I just like their cars. Next to Ford, they're my favorites.

Ford Fusion is built in Mexico.
If you buy a Fusion, how are you supporting domestic plants and employees?
By the way, I just wanna get the most for my money, it makes no difference to me where the car is being built. For years that was Ford, but now I think Koreans might beat them by offering the most for the money.

Good honest discussion is great but some getting personal here...Pretty sure we are all Ford Fans here.....
take it for what it's worth.
