Hummer H4?
#5
Hmmmmm... People bought the H1 because they were original, and a symbol of prestige. I bet 95% of them have never been off the road (kinda tough when youre rollin on 24s). Anyways, then they made the H2 and H3, each one getting cheaper to the point of becoming just regular SUVs cus apparently GM doesn't have enough of those  . They're taking themselves out of the their original market, no ones is going to want to drop 80 or 100 grand on a Hummer when they see 4 soccer moms driving them on their way to work. Seems pretty stupid to me.

I loved the H1's.... not for their appeal, but give me one with every off road option available, and i'll drive it anywhere I need to go. They looked mean, rugged and were built to go through fire and brimstone, and back.
The H2's, were nice, but the core of them was nothing more than a Chevy tahoe with a different body/interior. It lost its origional meaning to me.. the go anywhere anytime appeal. For a dad going through a mid-life crisis or a mild off-road enthusiast, it was ok.
now with the H3, and this H4 concept, please shoot me. Hummers are now glorified SUV's with all the creature comforts desired by the modern day soccer mom and spoiled high school teen ager. Its sickening almost as to how many I see now. They are so much smaller than the big lumbering H1 they came from and just plain would not cut it on anything more than a gravel driveway.
Its depressing to see where AM General has gone. I am thankful that they still produce H1's every year and you can order one fully decked out.

ya, they've really milked the Hummer name for much more than its worth... I think the H2 is rediculous, I glare at the driver anytime i see one cruising around downtown in a suit. If they had just kept it to the H1, and maybe one other model that's smaller, but more like a wrangler and less like a comfy SUV.
