HPP Richard Petty Superbird
While I think that's ridiculous, it's also pretty cool in it's own right. Except for the same ol' boring interior. As was already mentioned...it needs a lot more than a few painted pieces to fix that interior.
I think I just disagree with all of you. It would have been better with a Charger turned coupe like WCC did for a General Lee tribute. The wheels suck. Plain as that. I just hate that it's a Challenger. The interior is very correct for the refreshed vintage Dodge was going for. All Domestic brands are just catching up to the trend of better looking interiors.
Now here's what I do like. The pieces added to the car are well executed. It's a great color. Not perfect but it's nice. Love the superbird logos! It just wasn't executed the way I would have done it. So I give it a meh for me and a thumbs up for quality work.

I like it...
But for authenticity, I agree it should be a charger. The Superbird was the Plymouth equivalent of the Charger Daytona. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to use the Challenger.
I know the chargers are four doors, but i think it would have been really cool if they used the new Charger since they redesigned the body.
Since this is supercharged, I'm going to guess they used a 5.7, since it is more common to see them with superchargers, (SMS Supercars uses the 5.7 with a supercharger) so why not use a new Charger?
