Does anyone believe that the Maisto version due in June will be just as nice for $30?? I've never had an Auto Art model but I really cannot afford $79 for one.

Lucas, I have a few 1/18 Maisto and in my opinion they are detailed quite nicely for thier price (of course you get what you pay for). And just like you I can't afford $79 for a model, so I will also be waiting for the Maisto (or another brand) version. The most I've ever paid for a model was $45 for my Autoart S351, and that was pushing it for me lol.

Hey, thanks Jason, yeah I haven't bought a 1/18 scale Maisto model for almost five years. I got the 2000 Cobra R. I like the detail but based on what I've seen the Autoarts are far more interesting thus requiring more $$$. I didn't know if Maisto had gotten more detailed over the years or not.. Thanks again.

I have Redfire AutoArt on order. Here's a nice ground pounder in 1:18 scale that will be released soon from GMP.

Hot Wheels will also be releasing 1/18 scale versions of the 2005 Coupe and Convertible for about $25 each, sometime in August.
