How is hyundai looking in your eyes

The 13 Genesis Coupe 3.8 R-Spec is a beast I love driving them at work it's the only reason working at Hyundai is worth it.

Hyundai is looking pretty good lately. They've come a long way in a rather short time as far as car companies in America are concerned.

I have no need for one but I can respect their work.

I don't ever see myself owning one but I agree as far as replacing the Tiburon with the Coupe they made a great move

Hyundai is the new Honda. I always prefer American makes but do prefer Korean to Japanese.

I like Hyundai. I respect the Korean automakers in general for the massive leap they've made from 'bargain basement' crap-mobile cars to stylish, popular and respectable automobiles in such a short amount of time.

In regards to the Genesis coupe particularly, it's sweet no doubt, but the 3.8 is dangerously close to 5.0 mustang money and for that sort of coin the GT is the far better choice I think.

I agree, much like the fr-s and br-z; their great little cars but 27-30k could better spent elsewhere.

Hyundai has really upped their game the past few years, from being the butt of jokes to making some pretty darned good cars nowadays.

Now if they'd only plop their 5.0 V8 in the Genesis Coupe to create the first real Asian pony car...

Hyundai really needs to grow a pair and pull the trigger on this. It would have a huge impact on the auto enthusiast community and thus, ultimately, on Hyundai's broader perception. All the bits are there, so its not like its a huge engineering stretch.

When they get smart and roll a ragtop version of that little beast, I will take a serious test drive.

This.

I drove the genesis sedan on vacation last summer. Solid pick up for a good sized 4 door sixer. I was impressed by comfort and build quality. I would absolutely test a 5.0 coupe. Likely wouldn't buy it, but who knows they have surprised me lately.

They look good but actually I don't see that many on the road. Very very rarely do I see them.

Hyundai is looking much better over the past few years, so much better that I traded in my Fusion Sport for a Sonata 2.0T.
