What is wrong with people today? All those vehicle ranks today says that Honda Ridgeline is best truck. I just saw rank by AAA and guess what, they named Honda Ridgeline best truck. What is wrong with people today? How can anybody pick Honda Ridgeline over Ford F-Series, Chevrolet Silverado, Dodge Ram, GMC Sierra and even Nissan Titan and Toyota Tundra?

Doesn't look like when the bed gets damaged you can just slap on another one either. Yuppiemobile. When our '99 F-150 got rear ended my wife didn't even notice and the other car was totaled (scratched the bumper). I know it's smaller, but my Ranger gets better gas mileage,is just as quick as the Honda and has a real frame. Oh, and it cost me $10,242 just 2 years ago with A/C, CD player, full gauges and all the XLT stuff.

Let's look at the votes for the Honda Ridgeline.

Yuppie Magazine writers who think it's cool because it rides like a car and has storage container under the bed: 1,763 votes

General Contractors, construction workers, and people who need a real truck: 0

My girlfriends parents own a lawn service company with about 10 employees. They have some mid sized machinery they tow around the mountians of North Carolina. They own:

2000 F-150
2005 F-250 Super Duty Diesel
2006 F-250 Super Duty Diesel

No one who actually needs a truck buys a Ridgeline. Go down to your local construction site and ask a GC or a sub if they would own one. Watch the laughter.

Not only is it barely a truck, it is ugly as sin too. it looks like an el camino on steroids. it has a v-6 that pulls a whopping 245 ft-lb or torque. the new v-6 stangs are only 5 less than this supposed 'truck'.

magazines are giving it awards because it doesnt 'drive like a truck. it drives like a honda'. guess what? It's supposed to drive like a truck becase it is a truck!!!

As Finlay said, no one who needs an actual truck will even consider this.
